There’s a tree on a trail that I like to run that is sideways. It fell over. I assumed it was dead until my friend pointed out that all the leaves were green and it was still growing. Some of its roots were still in the ground even though some dead roots were now pointing towards the sky.
Grow up or grow sideways.
Fall down and keep growing.
