Today we went to the beach and found some sand crabs in the sand. When the water goes back towards the ocean, you can see little bubbles in the sand that indicate where a sand crab is. If you dig fast enough and deep enough, you can catch a little sand crab.
One thing we discovered recently is that you don’t have to hunt down the sand bubbles. If you don’t see any bubbles in the sand, you can just dig anywhere and still have pretty good luck finding a sand crab, because there are so many around at this beach.
But how did we discover that digging anywhere works? By trying something that we weren’t sure of. By trying something that might not have worked. By taking a chance and just digging. Anywhere.
Where are you not digging?
