Everything has an upside and downside. Fries taste good but they don’t make you healthier. Raw kale is healthy but you might not like the way it tastes.
New cars are shiny and in pristine condition but they’re more expensive and they depreciate faster. Used cars are better value, but they’re not shiny and new and you may not know exactly what condition they’re in when you buy them.
If an option seems good, then you see the upside. But there’s always a downside. Make sure that you know what the downside is, so that you can decide if you’re okay with it.
