Tonight I saw a handful of fireworks in my neighborhood from my backyard but my 4-year-old son didn’t come outside in time to see them in time. He was disappointed, then went inside and said, “I’m just going to draw some so we can see some more.”
It reminded me of a story that Sir Ken Robinson retold in a TED talk, where a young girl said she was going to draw God and the teacher said, “But no one knows what God looks like,” to which the girl replied: “They will in a minute.”
