Make your time worth it

Today, I was grateful that my dad could come over to watch my kids for a few hours so that I could do some work. I was working in the next room while my dad was reading a story to my 2-year-old daughter. Having them be that close by makes it obvious what else I could be doing or would be doing, inspires me to not waste time, makes me more aware of how I’m spending my time, and makes me make sure that what I’m spending my time on is worth it.

There might be someone in the next room who is enabling you to do what you do. Make it worth it for them and for you, and for the people that you’re working for.
