I went for a run the other day and as I started out, my right shoe felt loose, so I stopped and tightened the laces. Then, as soon as I continued, my left shoelace felt too loose in comparison, so I stopped and tightened those laces too. The left laces seemed perfectly fine before I tightened my right laces, so why were they bothering me now?
Everything is relative, and we choose what bothers us.
