Sometimes a splinter is your biggest problem. Until you have a cut. Then your biggest problem is a cut. Until you have a broken bone. And so on. I’ve found that the easiest way to feel grateful for what you have is to go one level up in the wrong direction. And why not four levels up? I think we don’t do this more often because you don’t need to fix what’s not broken. But sometimes it’s nice to just look at it and appreciate that it’s not broken. And you can do this anytime you like. Like right now.
